Are we all good Mothers and Fathers?
I thank God for a team that created moving Sonogram
images of a baby still in utero. More than a single image, they are continuous
feed images, much like taking a movie. Imagine: Putting a camcorder to the
belly of a pregnant mother. What would you see?
Take a look:
Baby Photos from fetus to birth
Yes, these are images of a lovely baby doing wonderful things
- just like someone who was full term - like Walking, Moving his/her arms,
Smiling. The same things you would do... even now.
So, rather than making this sound like a Pro-Life discussion
- because in the above shots, you can clearly see life - I will take you on a
Biblical journey for those who do NOT chose Life but instead choose death for
the unborn.
In those old days, abortion did not exist. Therefore, a
child must have come to full term. But, to some the children were considered
"property" instead of "people". Thus, the will of the parent overruled the will
of the child. However, the parents, did not chose to fear the One True God, the
God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob - but instead, chose fear of a "being" referred
to as Molech. Children were used as burned sacrifices to appease this angry
"god".
Jeremiah 32:35. "And they
built the high places of Baal which are in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to
cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the
fire to Molech, which I did not command them,
nor did it come into My mind that they should do this abomination, to cause
Judah to sin."
Is this bad? It most certainly is. That a mother would take
her son and burn him for selfish reasons. That a father who would condemn his
pure and innocent daughter to death. And this went on for generations! So,
here we can chalk up two deadly sins: (1) Murder - thou shall not kill (2)
Rejecting God - thou shall have no other gods before Me. But the worst, is yet
to come.

First realize, we as people are not infallible - we make mistakes. We get deceived and mess up. Abortion messes you up for life. It is the punshment for what you chose to do to one of God's loved children.
John 9:41. Jesus said to them, "If you were
blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, `We see.' Therefore your sin
remains.
I thank God today, right now, and give Him the glory for this new technology that allows others to SEE that the unborn is not the same as DEAD. Our life began not with our mother and father, but with God Himself:
Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the
womb I knew you..."
God knew each of us, before our parents, before our
grandparents, from the beginning of time.
God is so merciful, that He allows us time to stop rebelling, stop fighting Him,
and instead seek Him. If you can let down your guard long enough, and give Him
time, He will be merciful and accept you. Here is how I know:
John 18
7. Then He asked them again, "Whom are you
seeking?'' And they said, "Jesus of Nazareth.''
8. Jesus answered, "I have told you that I am He.
Therefore, if you seek Me, let these go their way,''
9. that the saying might be fulfilled which He spoke,
"Of those whom You gave Me I have lost none.''
If you are touched right now, and there is a tugging on your heart, a horrible guilty feeling, it's because you know (by the work of the Holy Spirit) that you need help - right now. Jesus will not lose you, so seek to be found. If you need to change your life, He will be there before, during, and after the change. That is called Faithfulness - and Jesus is perfectly faithful.
Tell Jesus that you are sorry for the sins of your past, including
abortion, or thinking about abortion!
Tell Jesus that you need help, you need a Savior who promised to be there with
you forever.
Hug your baby today and thank God for him. Rub your belly and thank God for your daughter. Kiss the girl whom your made pregnant and do like Jesus would - stand by her side because she needs help, just like you do.
