Can a chain letter determine the faith of a believer?

It's sad that these Superstitious letters get circulated and get folks riled up and worried believing that "good luck" comes from forwarding an e-mail to a friend. A prayer request, yes. I want to give you some scripture to consider because in God's word is promise:

ASV Philippians 4:6-7
6. In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

American Standard
Isaiah 54:17
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Jehovah, and their righteousness which is of me, saith Jehovah.

Isaiah states: The key is "to be righteous" before God.
Paul states: A Christ likeness is to be anxious for nothing. Consider the calming of the storm of the sea of Galilee. ALL things are under God's control.

Consider again, however, Isaiah: How will you obtain Righteousness? How does God see you? If you are Righteous before God, won't he protect you?

As Christians, we obtain righteousness through the grace of God.  If God can see us as a model of Jesus, fit for the kingdom, then we have achieved righteousness.  We will demonstrate Honesty, Integrity, without Lust, Pride, and without Sin putting on Christ likeness as we have been commanded to do. When we fail, because of our flesh, we ask forgiveness immediately. We say "I'm sorry".

ASV 1 John 1:8-10
8. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

My point:
Know in whom you place your trust, and rebuke "luck" as "luck" infers that God is not in control, but instead chance. God's answer is always "Yes and Amen" ; Man's instruction is "Let your Yes be Yes, Let your No be No"; therefore "luck" and "maybe" are sins. Therefore, in the name of Jesus, I rebuke the works of the prince of darkness and claim, in the name of Jesus that all believers should call upon God, and the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, for their answers and not heed to the worries of this world. Place your trust in God alone. He is righteous indeed.
