THE TEMPLE

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:8-10 1 Corinthians 6:14 1 Corinthians 15:42-54

Why talk about the Temple when there are so many synagogues in the world.  After all, a synagogue is a place for a Jewish man or woman to worship Adonai.  The Temple is different.  In the days when there truly was a Temple in Jerusalem, sacrifice was made on the alter to atone for sins.  The ceremony was solemn, and the whole point was to atone for sin of God's people.  The Bible says that all have sinned (Romans 3:23).  If we have all sinned, then we don't stand much chance before a Holy God without atonement. The synagogue is not where the sacrifice is made for the sins of God's people.  That atoning sacrifice can only be done, in the Temple.

There is a problem, however, in modern times.  The Temple of Jerusalem doesn't exist. At the former site of the Temple is a Mosque.  God's Temple is Holy and Sacred to those of the Jewish faith, while the Mosque is Holy and Sacred to those of the Muslim faith.  Yet, the Bible is clear about this one thing:  The Anti-Christ is found standing in the Temple declaring to the world that He is God (Matthew 24:15).  ( See One World"> One World )  Therefore, someone needs to rebuild the Temple for this to happen.  I can only assume that the devout Jewish men and women of Israel would build such a structure.  In fact, they want to build the structure because they once again are living in the promised land of Israel, again.  ( See Israel">Return to Israel )  Without the Temple, the Messiah will not return.  This is the hope for a devout Jewish man and woman.

For those who believe that Jesus is the Messiah, notice that when He was born ( 2000 years ago ) there was a Temple.  The interesting thing is that Christian believers see the messianic prophecy as fulfilled, while current Jewish teaching sees it as a coming event.  Yet, let me make one thing clear.  The Jewish Book of Daniel and the Christian Gospels agree on this one point - a Temple when erected will have the Anti-Christ standing within it citing himself as God.  The other fundamental belief of those who recognize Jesus as the Messiah, is that atonement of sin is complete through the blood of Jesus, so another physical Temple is not really needed for any reason, except to fulfill scripture.

The Temple Mount

Prophesy

Cleansing:
Numbers 19:2 This is the ordinance of the law which the Lord hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:

Numbers 19:11-13
11. He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.
12. He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.
13. Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the Lord; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.

Cleansing the Temple
Significance of Red Heifer  ( Photo of a Red Heifer)
Why the Red Heifer is desired

Which is more significant, a Red Heifer, or the blood of Jesus?
A MUST SEE Video clip from Ron Wyatt (2010)

Comment Strange and significant that the Red Heifer has been "extinct" for so long, and now that same animal is available, in 2002.  Jews cannot enter the Temple Mount because they are unclean, have handled the "dead", and will not enter "Holy Ground" unclean.  It is sacrilege.   The Red Heifer gives new hope.  Once cleaned Jews could enter and possibly survey the Temple Mount to build a new Temple.  Moreover, to sacrifice in the Third Temple, the ashes of the Red Heifer are required to cleanse the structure, the alter and the priests.  The appearance of the extinct heifer signifies that God is preparing to do something that could not be done in these last days.

The Third Temple

Prophesy

Matthew 24:15-16
15.When therefore ye see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let him that readeth understand),
16. then let them that are in Judaea flee unto the mountains:

2 Thessalonians 2:4  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Daniel 9:26 And after the threescore and two weeks shall the anointed one be cut off, and shall have nothing: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; (abbreviated)

Daniel 11:31 And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation.

Comment  From a Jewish perspective, the Temple signifies atonement by sacrifice.  The Jewry now assembled in Israel can once again offer sacrifice for sin.  This is the daily sacrifice which is discussed in the Daniel.  It wasn't until God allowed His people to return to Israel in 1948 that we could even fathom the fulfillment of this prophesy.

From a Christian perspective:  Paul writes, the Temple inside us that houses the Holy Spirit.  We are the Temple.  Jesus was the sacrifice for all sin not requiring that an additional sacrifice be made.  It is finished.

From a Prophetic perspective: This must be done in order to fulfill all things written in scripture.  The Temple MUST be built so that the antichrist can declare himself as G-d before the Jews (a blasphemy) and the Day of the Lord begins.  It will be a time of tribulation, but that particular day begins the 45 days of hell on earth.  For more get the book the END from the BEGINNING available on this site.

day's of my Life!. Because your Word is Truth, I confess
with my mouth that I am Born Again and Cleansed
by the Blood of Jesus!   In Jesus Name, Amen.
